No iPod competitor from Dell

“Dell’s plan to chip away at Apple’s iPod+iTunes iceberg have apparently melted. After purchasing media portal software in 2007 and announcing plans this year for a new player that would tie into it, Dell has reportedly scrapped the media gadget in favor of building the software into every machine it ships.”

Apparently, the Rob Enderle guided Team created a red device with yellow buttons and four black volume Knobs (two on each side), not unlike Formula-1 tires.
Rumours are, that Michael Dell screamingly left the room, after the Team presented the new device.

As you can see, I just got my iPhone today. Software version is, due to Carrier-Reasons still at 1.0.2, and I plan to keep it that way for some time.
First impression is: Awesome. Absolutely awesome and amazing.
Although it lacks some of the features which I would take for granted in modern Mobile Phones, it shines on many other feature-comparisons.
I’ll write more soon.

Und hier ein aktuelles Beispiel warum man sich nicht immer nur auf sein Navigationssystem verlassen sollte. Eine Prise gesunden Menschenverstandes wäre hier sicherlich niemals fehl am Platz.
