ENDLICH ONLINE!

Ich wollte einen Blog erstellen, um meine Gedanken und interessante Funde im Web zu teilen. Doch das Projekt drohte zu stagnieren. Daher habe ich eine einfache Version online gebracht, die keine spezifische Thematik hat, sondern meine Interessen und Gedanken widerspiegelt. Zudem werden RSS-Feeds für die Inhalte bereitgestellt.

RSS Validierungsprobleme behoben...

Ein Problem in meinem RSS-Script führte zu fehlerhaften Daten, da es ein UTF-8-Problem gab, das die Validierung beeinträchtigte. Das Problem wurde nun behoben.

Still alive

I've been busy lately and haven't updated the blog, but I'm currently enjoying myself. I expect to resume regular blogging soon.

Comment support

Comment support has been implemented after a brief coding session. I aimed to enhance my VIM skills during this process. Additionally, a previous post contained a bug related to a non-functional link, which has now been fixed. Further, I've recently purchased the new Chemical Brothers album.

Another little improvement

You can now save your settings in the comment dialog for future use. Additionally, I've connected this blog with my LiveJournal, allowing most entries to appear there too, appealing to friends who use that platform. Plans also include creating a separate category for Track-A-Day Posts to streamline content.

Espagnol por favor?

In an effort to enhance my Spanish language skills, I will begin writing blog entries in Spanish. Armed with various resources and support from Spanish-speaking friends, my goal is to engage in basic conversations within a year. Constructive feedback on syntax would be greatly appreciated as I embark on this journey. Thank you for reading.

The blog has undergone enhancements using PHP/Smarty to improve the layout and usability. While I initially aimed to implement it in Ruby on Rails for learning purposes, time constraints led to a more straightforward update. The new design offers expanded options and better user experience, paving the way for future improvements.

Small Blog Enhancements

WordPress 2.0 has been released, offering enhanced usability. Despite considering a switch, I chose to implement a simple Captcha to combat the surge of Chinese spam in the comments section. While the Captcha may not be entirely secure, it might effectively reduce spam for now. Further enhancements may be needed if the spam persists.

New feature: MiniBlog

I’ve integrated my Twitter and Jaiku data into the blog to share shorter updates due to time constraints. You can now expect more concise posts about my activities. Additionally, I combined my Twitter and Flickr feeds into a single RSS feed for easier access to my content.

I got my iPhone

I just received my iPhone, currently running software version 1.0.2 due to carrier restrictions, and I'm impressed. While it may lack some modern mobile features, it excels in several other areas. I plan to share more insights soon.
